If you are heading to a Penn State Nittany Lions football game this Beaver Stadium Parking Tips Guide will help you understand where the different stadium parking lots are located. There are several large parking areas located very near to the stadium.

**To avoid hassle, my advice is to purchase a parking pass in advance. You can buy your pass directly from the Penn State University as long as supplies last, or you can use online ticket brokers like StubHub or Vivid Seats. I like to use Vivid Seats because they allow you to browse a parking map to find a lot and price that makes sense for you. Where to Park at Beaver Stadium

How Does Parking Work at Beaver Stadium?

Beaver Stadium offers 3 different tiers of parking you can choose from. They are general, reserved, and preferred. As you can imagine, roughly speaking, the lower the tier the cheaper the parking pass but the further you will be from the stadium.

Beaver Stadium also has 4 parking zones used to direct traffic in and out of the stadium. The four zones are North, East, South, and West. These zones have specific entry points with one way traffic typically starting 4 hours prior to kickoff. So you will need to know the zone you are parking in and enter it on the correct street or you will be directed elsewhere.

If you want to reduce walking distance, buying a reserved prepaid permit is always a good option. Click here to view Penn State Nittany Lions football parking passes available at VividSeats.com (affiliate link takes you to vividseats.com).

There are over 30 parking options for you to choose from at or around Beaver Stadium. Keep in mind that some of the general and preferred parking lots are on grass, so if there is inclement weather you will need to plan ahead.

How Much Does Parking Cost at Beaver Stadium?

The cost of parking at Beaver Stadium will depend on what lot you park in. There is a wide range of prices. You can find some parking that is free that is within walking distance to Beaver Stadium and some passes can run up over $100. Also, you can buy passes for the full year that will drastically cut down on the per game price.

My advice is to visit the Beaver Stadium Information page where you can see the full list of of options.

When do Beaver Stadium Parking Lots Open?

For games that start at noon or before, the lots will open at 7am. For games starting after noon, the lots will open at 8am. As mentioned, each parking zone will have one way traffic to help with traffic flow. The one way traffic will start at 8:30 for noon or before games and for games after noon, one way traffic will start 4 hours prior to kickoff (source).

Beaver Stadium Uber Drop-off Rideshare Locations

There is one Beaver Stadium Rideshare and drop off location. The Rideshare and Uber Drop Off and Pick Up location is in Beaver Stadium Lot 46 (source). This is technically a reserved lot located south of Beaver Stadium. Also, keep in mind that rideshare apps can get really busy the closer to game time and after games, so plan ahead.

To get to the Beaver Stadium Rideshare and Uber Drop Off and Pickup location you will need to take University Drive to Hastings Road to enter into Beaver Stadium Lot 46. This is also part of the South Parking Zone, so you will need to follow this route or you will be directed elsewhere.
