How Does Parking Work at Allen Fieldhouse?
The parking lots closest to Allen Fieldhouse are reserved for Williams Fund members and require applicable parking passes.

If you don’t have a Williams Fund parking pass, you will need to use public parking.
For public parking at Allen Fieldhouse, you have two main options. The first is a parking garage (called the Central District Garage) located to the west of Allen Fieldhouse that is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on gameday (yes, it does cost to park in this garage). UPDATE 2022-23 – The second main public parking area was free shuttle parking located on the west side of campus. However, the shuttle parking is no longer available. Therefore, the best public parking option near the arena will be the Central District Garage.
Does Allen Fieldhouse Have a Parking Garage?
Yes, there are two parking garages located near Allen Fieldhouse (one for public parking and one for Williams Fund parking). The Williams Fund parking garage is often referred to as the Allen Fieldhouse Garage. It sits directly north of the arena, and has a walkway that connects the garage to the northside of Allen Fieldhouse.
As we discussed earlier, the public parking garage for Kansas Basketball is located to the west of Allen Fieldhouse and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on gameday (learn more).
Allen Fieldhouse Parking Lot Locations
Allen Fieldhouse Lot 54 Parking Location
Allen Fieldhouse Lot 54 parking is located about one block north of Allen Fieldhouse. This lot is a surface lot which you enter on the north side of Irving Hill Road, west of the intersection of Naismith Drive and Irving Hill Road. This lot will require only a short 3-5 minute walk to the arena.

Allen Fieldhouse Lot 72 Parking Location
Allen Fieldhouse Lot 72 parking is located near the northwest corner of Allen Fieldhouse. This lot is a surface lot which you enter on the south side of Irving Hill Road, just east of the intersection of Burdick Drive and Irving Hill Road. This lot will require only a short 2-3 minute walk to the arena.

Allen Fieldhouse Lot 90 Parking Location
Allen Fieldhouse Lot 90 parking is located southeast of Allen Fieldhouse. It sits on the other side of Naismith Drive from the arena. Allen Fieldhouse Lot 90 is positioned southeast of the intersection of Naismith Drive and Schwegler Drive. This lot will require only a short 3-5 minute walk to the arena.

Allen Fieldhouse Lot 93 Parking Location
Allen Fieldhouse Lot 93 parking is located about two blocks west of Allen Fieldhouse. This lot is a surface lot which you enter on the south side of Ousdahl Road, north of the intersection of Ousdahl Road and 19th Street. This lot will require only a short 5-10 minute walk to the arena.

Allen Fieldhouse Garage Parking
Allen Fieldhouse Garage is directly north of the stadium, and has a walkway that connects the garage to the northside of Allen Fieldhouse. The entrance to Allen Fieldhouse Garage parking is located on the south side of Irving Hill Road, just west of the intersection of Naismith Drive and Irving Hill Road.

Allen Fieldhouse Public Parking for Kansas Basketball
Allen Fieldhouse public parking has two main options.
The first is a parking garage located to the west of Allen Fieldhouse that is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on gameday (source). These spots will go fast on gameday, so arrive early if you plan to use this garage (yes, it does cost to park in this garage).
You can access this Allen Fieldhouse parking garage by going north at the intersection of Ousdahl Road and 19th Street. You then follow Ousdahl Road as it goes north into central campus. It eventually leads you into the Central District Garage.

Allen Fieldhouse Free Parking Lots
UPDATE 2022-23 – The shuttle parking listed below is no longer available. Via the KU Parking page: “Game Day Shuttles from Park & Ride have been discontinued for the 2022-23 basketball season.” This is where you can visit the KU Basketball Parking Page to read more.
(Shuttles are discontinued for the 2022-23 basketball season) Another public parking option is to use Allen Fieldhouse shuttle parking. These shuttle parking lots are located farther from the arena. This area is very wide open and easy to get in and out of. It functions as a park and ride area, and offers gameday shuttles.
Parking is free in these shuttle lots, but it does cost to ride the shuttle (when I did this it was $5 for the shuttle, but prices are subject to change). These shuttles begin two hours prior to tip-off (source).
You access this Allen Fieldhouse Shuttle Parking area by turning north at the intersection of Clinton Parkway and Crestline Drive. Click here to view this intersection. The specific lot used is lot 301. This is where you can view a 360-degree view from this parking lot near the bus stop. Just north of lot 301 is Becker Drive, where shuttles run.
