There are several large parking area very near to Ball Arena, which help make Colorado Avalanche parking convenient. In this article, let’s explore some of the most popular parking options.

When you park at Ball Arena, you have two basic options:

  • Pre-purchase a parking pass (learn more).
  • Drive up and pay for parking on site.

Purchasing a parking pass in advance is always helpful and can reduce the hassle of paying on site. Parking passes can be purchased through the Ball Arena parking page or through online ticket brokers like Ticketmaster, StubHub, and Vivid Seats.

There are four main parking entrances to the Ball Arena grounds. The two most common are the 7th Street Entrance and the Speer Boulevard Entrance.

If you are coming from the north, the Speer Boulevard Entrance will make the most sense. It is located at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Chopper Circle (view this entrance).

If you are coming from the south, west, or from downtown Denver, the entrances along Auraria Parkway will make the most sense. There are entrances at 7th, 9th, and 11th streets (off of Auraria). Parking passes are not required for every Ball Arena parking lot, but pre-purchasing a parking pass can help reduce hassle on gameday.

Colorado Avalanche Parking Lot Locations

The lots listed below are some of the most popular Colorado Avalanche parking lots:

  • 4Runner Parking Lot – This is one of the most popular public parking areas. It is located west of the arena and will require a 3-5 minute walk.   • Tundra Parking Lot – The Tundra Parking Lot is located southeast of the arena (on the other side of Chopper Circle from the arena).   • Corolla Parking Lot – The Corolla Parking Lot is located east of the arena (on the other side of 12th Street from the arena).   • Elitch Gardens Parking Lot – Elitch Gardens Water Park, which is located north of Ball Arena, is also used for public parking. There is a pedestrian walkway that goes over the railyard to connect the Elitch Gardens parking area to Ball Arena. The main entrance to Elitch Gardens is on the west side of Speer Boulevard, north of Ball Arena.
