When Do Kenan Memorial Gates Open?
The time gates at Kenan Memorial Stadium open 2 hours prior to kickoff. North Carolina University recommends getting to your gate at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff (source).
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate Locations
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 1 Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 1 is located on the northeast corner of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the Kessing Outdoor Pool just off us Stadium Drive. There is a walkway that leads past Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 2 down the hill to Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 1.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 2 Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 2 is located on the north side of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the Kessing Outdoor Pool just off us Stadium Drive. As you approach Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 2, you will see a large set of stairs and glass windows on the side of the stadium. There is a metal fence with stone entry posts that read “Gate 2”.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 3 Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 3 is located on the northwest corner of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the Morehead Patterson Bell Tower. Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 3 is located just north of the Kenan Football Center. You will also find the Ticket office located near Gate 3. This is located just off of South Road.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 5 Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 5 is located on the southwest corner of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the UNC Hospital, not far from the Emergency Department. Gate 5 is located just off of Bell Tower Drive. As you approach Gate 5, you will see several steel gates and “Gate 5” signs.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 6 Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 6 is located on the south side of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the large stadium press box. As you approach Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 6, you will see a large “Welcome to Carolina” sign on the building as well as two stone posts that have “Gate 6” signs on them.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Blue Zone South Gate Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Blue Zone South Gate is located on the southeast corner of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the Karen Shelton Stadium just off of Rock Creek Ridge Road. This is one of two Blue Zone entrances into the stadium, so make sure you are going to the south one.

Kenan Memorial Stadium Blue Zone North Gate Entrance Location
Kenan Memorial Stadium Blue Zone North Gate is located on the northeast corner of the stadium. This is the same side of the stadium as the Kessing Outdoor Pool just off us Stadium Drive. There is a walkway that leads past Kenan Memorial Stadium Gate 2 down the hill to Kenan Memorial Stadium Blue Zone North Gate.
