Iowa Football Parking Tips

How Does Parking Work for Iowa Football Games?

Iowa Football Parking has both pre-purchased permit lots, and drive-up public parking lots. The lots closest to the stadium are Contributor lots, and require a permit. The drive up gameday lots do not accept cash.

In order to purchase a prepaid parking pass directly from the University of Iowa, you must purchase a season or single game ticket(s) through the UI Ticket Office. Public parking passes purchased through the UI ticket office need to be purchased in advance prior to 12:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday of game week (source).

To purchase a prepaid parking pass directly from the University of Iowa, you can contact the UI Athletics Ticket Office by either email or phone.

But you can also purchase parking passes from online ticket brokers such as StubHub or Vivid Seats. This might be especially useful if you’ve missed the University of Iowa’s purchase deadline listed above. The drive-up gameday parking lots that don’t require a permit are farther from the stadium, but some of these lots do offer shuttles that take you to Kinnick Stadium. There will also be private street and lot parking around the stadium, and prices will vary.
