This is a Nike NBA Courtside Jacket Review. The Nike Courtside Jacket is a mid-weight jacket that features the unique styles and colors of each NBA team.
This is what the Nike Courtside NBA jackets look like for each team at NBAStore.com (affiliate link takes you to NBAStore.com). These jackets are well made and featured embroidered logos and a full-button and full-zip front closure.
In this NBA Nike Courtside Jacket Review I will discuss how mine fits and include pictures of the jacket I own. Some Nike NBA apparel (like Swingman jerseys) runs very slim. But what about the Nike Courtside Jackets? How do Nike Courtside jackets fit?
The Nike Courtside jackets run true to size. These jackets have a standard fit and you should not need to size up or size down.

What is a Nike Courtside Jacket?
The Nike Courtside NBA jackets are a lightweight warm-up style jacket featuring team colors and logos. The Courtside jacket is not a winter coat (it is not that thick), but it is also a bit heavier than a simple track jacket.
It would be best used as a gym jacket or a late-fall, early-spring jacket. NBAStore.com describes it as a “mid-weight jacket suitable for moderate temperatures.” I would agree with that description.
The Nike Courtside Jacket has a nice, crisp, stiff outer shell, but has a soft polyester lining that makes it both durable, and comfortable to wear.

How Do Nike Courtside Jackets Fit?
Much of Nike’s NBA apparel has a slim, athletic fit, but what about the Courtside jacekts? How do the Nike Courtside jackets fit?
The Nike Courtside jackets have a standard fit and run true to size. You will not need to size up or down.
Do not expect a slim fit. In fact, Nike describes the fit as “Loose fit has an oversized, roomy cut (source).”
There is definitely extra room through the chest and stomach area, although the sleeves are somewhat slim for a jacket. Overall, in my opinion, it is not loose enough to consider sizing down. It runs true to size, just expect a standard, relaxed fit.

***Don’t forget, we also review the Nike Swingman jersey pictured below. Out of all the NBA fan jerseys, the Nike Swingman (in my opinion) is the best. Nike Courtside NBA Jacket Review: Photos
Here are the photos of the Nike Courtside Jacket that I own. Again, expect the jackets to run true to size. It is fitted through the shoulders, but looser around the stomach. I am 6’3″ tall and weigh 200 pounds and the jacket is a size medium. For reference, here I am wearing a medium t-shirt:
As you can see the jacket has a standard fit that is not too slim. I did not need to size up or down. The front side has a full-zip and a full-button closure. It has two side pockets that also zip close. The team logo is sewn-on. NBA and Nike logos featured on left sleeve.
The back of the jacket does not have any logos.
The team logo on the front of the jacket is sewn-own, and the Nike and NBA logos on the left sleeve are embroidered.
Sleeves fit tight around wrist, but are still loose enough that they can be adjusted up the forearm if needed, but I am not able to get mine pulled up to the elbow.
The NBA Courtside Jacket features 2 pockets on the outside that zip close, and an inside zip pocket just inside the left chest area.
The lining is 100% polyester, soft against the skin, and is machine washable.
Nike Courtside NBA Jacket Review: Summary
The Nike Courtside NBA jacket is a mid-weight jacket that is heavier than a windbreaker track jacket, but lighter than a winter jacket. It would work best during the spring and fall months, or as a gym jacket.
The Courtside jacket runs true to size, but expect a relaxed fit. It does not fit slim through the chest or stomach. The sleeves are somewhat fitted.
It has a full-button and full-zip front closure, with two zip side pockets, and an inside zip chest pocket. The hems on the wrists and collar are snug, but I am able to adjust the sleeve up the forearm a bit.
The team logo is sewn on and the NBA and Nike logos on the left sleeve are both embroidered. This is a perfect mid-weight jacket that is both comfortable to wear, and functional.
