As an emphasis on security has increased in recent years, NFL stadiums have adjusted their bag policies. There are strict regulations regarding the types of bags allowed inside a stadium. The NFL recommends fans to use clear stadium bags like this one available at Amazon (paid affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

Clear stadium bags help with security at the gate, and not only make the stadium safer, but also help security lines move faster. But each stadium has its own safety guidelines, and may include certain exceptions. To read more, I would advise you to visit the MetLife Stadium clear bag page.

Buying Jets Tickets

As of this year, mobile tickets are the only method of entry into Jets games and events. Tickets can be purchased directly from the team’s website, or through the team’s official app. You can also use ticket brokers like StubHub or Vivid Seats.

I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. Click here to view Jets tickets available at VividSeats.com (affiliate link takes you to vividseats.com).

If you choose to buy directly from the team, you can do so by downloading the Jets Mobile App to your mobile device. The Jets Mobile App keeps you connected to the team with news, and gives you access to ticket purchasing. To learn more about the Jets Mobile App, click here.

The MetLife Stadium ticket office is located inside the West VIP entrance. The Jets ticket office is located at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, NJ. I suggest contacting them prior to game day if you have any questions.

  • MetLife Stadium Lot J
  • MetLife Stadium Lot K
  • MetLife Stadium Lot L
  • MetLife Stadium Lot M

When you purchase a gold parking pass, you are not reserving a specific spot in a certain lot. The pass just gives you access to any of the MetLife Stadium Gold Parking Lots. If you see a number on the gold pass, that number is used for internal purposes and is not assigning you to a specific parking spot (source).

MetLife Stadium Parking Lots typically open five hours prior to the start of an event and will close two (2) hours after the conclusion of an event (source).

  • Buy Prepaid Parking if Possible – Buying in advance helps reduce hassle and helps ensure that you have a parking spot on gameday. This is where you can view the current price of parking passes available for Jets games at Vivid Seats (paid affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

  • Park and Ride – If you don’t want to fight traffic near the stadium, you can use park and ride. Ticket holders who do not have parking permits can park at the Edison Park Fast parking lot located next to the Frank R. Lautenberg Train Station in Secaucus, NJ (Secaucus Junction).
