In this article we discuss Nike golf shoe sizing so that you have a better idea how Nike golf shoes fit. In general, Nike golf shoes fit true to size, but it can vary depending on what shoe you choose. For example, the Nike Air Max golf shoes I personally sized up a half size.

This is my favorite type of Nike Golf shoe and the shoe I wear the most mainly due to how comfortable it is (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com). Finding the right pair of golf shoes is definitely an important process.

I don’t want to make this sound simple, but the Nike Roshe G shoes are by FAR my favorite pair of golf shoes that I own. I bet I wear my Nike Roshe G golf shoes for 80 percent of the rounds I play.

These shoes are perfect for you if you are a weekend golfer (like me) who is looking for an affordable pair of Nike golf shoes that are comfortable and easy to wear. That’s my thing – I prefer my golf shoes to be very comfortable and lightweight.

The Nike Roshe G shoes are spikeless, but playing on my local courses, the traction is fine for basically every shot I encounter unless the course is wet (in which case I wear one of my spiked shoes). The Roshe G does have a spiked version also.

But if you are here because you are just looking for a comfortable pair of golf shoes to wear for your weekly league or to wear on the course on Saturday with your buddies, then the Nike Roshe G shoes will be perfect for you. They are comfortable, lightweight, and very easy to wear and don’t leave your feet screaming at the end of the round.

In my experience, these shoes run true to size. ***In this article we discuss mostly low-cut, classic golf shoes. If you are buying Nike golf shoes online, you are probably wondering how they fit (because, yes, it matters). Common questions are:

  • How do Nike Golf shoes fit?
  • Do Nike golf shoes run big or small?
  • Do Nike golf shoes run true to size?

In this article I will review how Nike Golf shoes fit and show pictures of how they fit on me. Based on my experience, how do Nike golf shoes fit?

Nike Golf Shoe Sizing

In general, my Nike Golf shoes run true to size, but it can vary depending on what style you choose. For example, the Nike Air Max golf shoes I personally sized up a half size.

Some of the shoes are very stiff out of the box because of the added support they provide.  These shoes are very tight fitting and so sizing up may be best.

The Nike Roshe G shoe, which is my favorite overall Nike golf shoe, is very flexible and I have been fine ordering my normal sizing. This is where you can browse the Nike Roshe G golf shoes at Amazon to see what colors and sizes are available (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

When you are looking at buying a pair of Nike golf shoes, there are many things to consider.  I like to look at size, fit, comfort, traction, flexibility, support, and price.

How do Nike Golf Shoes Fit?

In general, expect Nike golf shoes to fit true to size. Obviously, Nike golf shoe sizing varies depending on what type of shoe you choose. I have found that all of my Nike Golf shoes feel and fit a bit differently, but that in general, most of them fit true to size.  Again, I own these different types of Nike golf shoes:

  • Nike Roshe G (my favorite)
  • Nike Air Max (I sized up)
  • Nike Air Zoom Victory
  • Nike Golf Tour Premiere

Nike Roshe G Golf Shoes

The Nike Roshe G is a spikeless golf shoe (although there is a spiked option also). As previously mentioned, the Nike Roshe G golf shoes (in my experience) fit true to size. They are quite flexible, and adapt well to the shape of my foot.

The Nike Roshe G is my favorite shoe based on the price, flexibility and comfort of the shoe.  The soft spike pattern on the bottom of the shoe provides plenty of traction that allows me to play golf without worrying about slipping, and the shoe itself is very comfortable.

What is also awesome about the Nike Roshe G shoes is that when I bought them, they were the most affordable out of all of the Nike golf shoes that I own. This is the current price of the Nike Roshe G golf shoes at Amazon (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

The Roshe G is the lightest in weight out of all the Nike golf shoes I own. The shoe is very easy to move in and doesn’t wear you down during a round.

The shoe has soft spikes that cover the entire bottom of the shoe.  The spikes vary in length and size.  The spikes are bigger and longer on the heel of your foot, the pad of your foot, and on the big toe.

This gives added support to where your weight will be when swinging the club.  The rest of the bottom of the shoe is covered in smaller spikes that help with traction in wet conditions and when the ground is softer and your foot sinks in further.

I have found the shoe does just fine in water, although if you get water up around the laces it will get into the shoe.  Here are the pictures of my Roshe shoes:

Why You Should Buy the Nike Roshe G Golf Shoes

The Nike Roshe G is my favorite of the Nike golf shoes that I own, and it is the shoe that I recommend as best Nike golf shoe based on its combination of price, comfort, and style. This shoe is perfect for someone looking for a spikeless shoe that is also budget-friendly in comparison to other golf shoes.

If you are looking for a comfortable, lightweight spikeless golf shoe, I would suggest checking out the Roshe G. This is where you can browse the Nike Roshe G golf shoes at Amazon to see what colors and sizes are available (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

Nike Air Max Golf Shoes

How do Nike Air Max golf shoes fit?

The Nike Air Max golf shoes are quite popular and are a very stylish pair of golf shoes that offer great support to the foot while playing golf. If you are someone who considers support to be the most important aspect of a golf shoe, then this is the shoe for you.

For me, however, I like comfort and flexibility more than support, and because of that, I prefer the Roshe G shoes I covered first. The extra support that the Nike Air Max offers is important for some people, I would just recommend you to take these to the range a few times firs to break them in.

This is the current price of the Nike Air Max 1G men’s golf shoes at Amazon (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com). Nike Air Max is one of the more popular options on the market today.

As I said earlier in the article, Nike golf shoe sizing will vary depending on what style you choose. Altough most Nike golf shoes fit true to size, these Nike Air Max shoes I had to size up a ½ size.

As I stated above, the Air Max golf shoes have more support than any of my other Nike golf shoes. And this might be why they fit a little more snug than my other Nike golf shoes.

This shoe shoe takes a while to break in, and it really needs a handful of rounds to loosen up enough to make them a bit easier to wear. I like to wear this shoe when I need extra support, like when my ankles are sore or when I know I am playing a course where there is a lot of undulating terrain.

The bottom of the shoe has a series of soft medium bars that provide good traction.

air-max-nike-golf-shoe-bottom

The Nike Air Max shoe does not have spikes.  I have found the traction to be adequate and quite similar to the traction of the Nike Roshe shoe described earlier in the article.

This shoe performs just fine in all conditions but does give up some traction to the Air Zoom and Premiere that I own in really wet conditions (which isn’t shocking since it is spikeless).

The shoe is water proof unless you get water on top of the shoe where the laces are.  Here are pictures of my Nike Air Max 1G golf shoes:

Why You Should Buy the Nike Air Max Golf Shoes

If you value support when golfing, this is the perfect shoe for you. You definitely feel this shoe against your foot. As I mentioned above, I like to wear this shoe when I need extra support, especially in undulating terrain.

It will take a bit of time to break it in, so I would suggest taking them to the range a few time just to break them in a bit.

This is where you can browse the Nike Air Max golf shoes at Nike.com to see what colors and sizes are available (affiliate link takes you to Amazon). Again, I sized these shoes up a half size.

Nike Tour Premiere Golf Shoes

How do Nike Tour Premiere golf shoes fit?

tour-premiere-nike-golf-shoes-range

This Nike Tour Premiere golf shoes are one of the more premium pair of golf shoes that I own. They offer a nice combination of flexibility and support with great traction (does have spikes), and a bonus is they don’t have laces to hassle with (they still fit very snug even without laces – don’t worry about slipping).

In many ways I like these shoes just as much as the Nike Roshe G shoes, but ultimately I recommend the Nike Roshe G shoes as the best Nike golf shoes once you also factor in price.

In my experience, these Nike Tour Premiere shits fit true to size. I have ordered my normal sizing and it fits comfortably.

Out of the 4 Nike golf shoes that I own, the Tour Premiere has the best traction. If traction is your biggest concern when buying a golf shoe, then I would recommend the Tour Premiere.

tour-premiere-nike-golf-shoes-bottom

The cool thing is it combines that great traction with a nice combination of comfort and support – it does support your foot, but does so in a way that still makes it comfortable to wear, especially once it is broken in.

This shoe doesn’t have laces, which means no hassle of tying your shoes.  But again, it is still a snug fit, so don’t worry about slipping.

Don’t expect this shoe to be quite as flexible and comfortable as the Roshe G shoes discussed earlier. The shoe is a little stiff and rigid because of added support, which gives up some of the flexibility. But again, overall it is a nice combination of support and comfort.

The bottom of the shoe is a great design that not only looks really cool, it provides the greatest amount of traction and performance.  It has circled spike patterns on the bottom of the shoe that give maximum traction in all weather conditions. You will definitely feel the grip and know that you don’t have to worry about your shoe slipping.

The lace-less design also gives it superior water protection above all the other shoes.  Not seen in many pictures online, you will see the inside part of the shoe has a red strap to help loosen the shoe at the end of the round:

I like to wear mine when I go to nice courses and in situations where I am solely focused on playing my best. Since they are expensive, I try to keep them in the best shape and only wear them on these special occasions.  Here are pictures of my shoes:.

Why You Should Buy the Nike Tour Premiere Golf Shoes

Buy the Nike Tour Premiere golf shoes if you are looking for a premium pair of golf shoes that give you great traction. These shoes also do an excellent job of providing a nice combination of comfort and support.

This is a lace-less design that is good in wet conditions, and overall (out of the 4 Nike golf shoes I own) this is the pair I save for special occasions to use on premium courses and in situations where I am solely focused on playing my best.

Nike Air Zoom Victory Golf Shoes

How do Nike Air Zoom Victory golf shoes fit?

air-zoom-nike-golf-shoes-range-2

The Nike Air Zoom Victory golf shoes are perfect for those golfers who are looking for premium traction with nice support, but don’t want to pay all the way up for the Nike Tour Premiere golf shoes featured earlier.

In my opinion, it is sort of an in-between shoe which is perfect if you want something with a little better quality but don’t want to have to spend up for a premium shoe.

This is the current price of the Nike Air Zoom Victory golf shoes at Amazon (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

In my experience, these shoes fit true to size. They offer good support throughout the foot but aren’t quite as flexible as the Nike Roshe G golf shoes we discussed earlier.

Even with some limited flexibility, it is still a very comfortable shoe to play a round of golf in. That said, if comfort is the most important aspect of a golf shoe to you, then I would recommend the Nike Roshe G shoes over these Nike Air Zoom Victory shoes.

air-zoom-nike-golf-shoes-bottom

The circular spikes combined with the bars offer good performance in all conditions, although I have found them to not perform as well as the Tour Premier in really wet conditions. But overall it provides quality traction and support in a way that doesn’t make your feet hurt while playing.

Here are pictures of my Nike Air Zoom Victory golf shoes:

Why You Should Buy the Nike Air Zoom Victory Golf Shoes

I bought the Nike Air Zoom Victory golf shoes for the purpose of using them in really wet conditions when I felt like my Roshe G shoes might not have enough traction and support.

As I stated earlier in the article, the Nike Tour Premiere shoes that I own have the best traction, but they also were the most expensive when I bought them, and I try to save them for special occasions to use on premium courses and in situations where I am solely focused on playing my best.

Because of that, I don’t want to use those Tour Premier golf shoes in all situations that need extra traction because I try to save them for the premium courses. The Nike Air Zoom Victory shoes fill that void for me – when I need added traction, but don’t want to use my Tour Premier shoes, I use the Air Zoom Victory shoes instead.

My Favorite Nike Golf Shoes

This is my favorite types of Nike Golf shoe and the shoe I wear the most mainly due to how comfortable it is (affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com). These shoes fit true to size. If you want to read about Adidas, visit our Adidas Golf Shoe Sizing article.
