Best Places to Buy San Francisco Giants Tickets

If you are planning to attend a San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park and don’t yet have tickets, you might be wondering about your options. Where can you buy Giants tickets?

*Ticket Advice* – You can buy San Francisco Giants tickets directly from the team, or through an online ticket provider such as Vivid Seats or Stubhub. You can visit the ticket booths at the stadium, but I prefer to buy tickets online to avoid hassle and the possibility of a sellout. I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. Click here to view Giants tickets available at Vivid Seats (paid affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

Vivid Seats has a 100% Buyer Guarantee where they will make sure your tickets are safe and secure. If there are tickets available to purchase on game day, they will be at the Giants ticket office that is located on King Street by Willie Mays Plaza and Willie Mays Gate.

Although there may be other methods to buy San Francisco Giants tickets, the most popular options are:

  • Buy Directly from the Giants
  • Buy From Vivid Seats
  • Buy From Stubhub
  • Buy From TicketMaster
  • Buy From SeatGeek

As we discussed above, many fans prefer to buy tickets at the stadium, but if you want to reduce hassle and avoid waiting in ticket lines, buying online before you go is a good idea. There are several places online where you can purchase MLB tickets, including Vivid Seats, StubHub, TicketMaster (among others).

In my opinion, Vivid Seats is very easy to use. Here is a look at some screenshots from my phone as I search for Giants tickets at Vivid Seats:

In this article let’s take a closer look at all of these options so you have a better idea where to buy San Francisco Giants tickets. Let’s also discuss options you have if you are searching for cheap Giants tickets.

Where Can You Buy San Francisco Giants Tickets?

Buy Tickets from the Team

San Francisco Giants tickets are available to purchase at the stadium ticket office, or from the team website by clicking here. If you are interested in buying season tickets for the San Francisco Giants, you can view that information by clicking here.

Buying tickets through the Giants is not hard, and they offer a variety of plans to consider. If you hope to buy tickets on gameday from the ticket office at Oracle Park, just be aware that tickets may be sold out and/or lines could be long. To read more, visit our article about purchasing tickets at Oracle Park.

  • Ticket Office Hours: The Giants ticket office opens 2.5 hours before first pitch on game days, which is the only time it is physically open. They are also open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm PST via phone.
  • Ticket Office Location: The Giants ticket office is located on King Street by Willie Mays Plaza and Willie Mays Gate (view) by gate 3. You will see several ticket windows marked “Tickets” just down King street from the gate.
  • Will Call Location: The Will Call windows are located at the Oracle Park Ticket Office. As we just discussed above, the ticket office is located along King Street near Willie Mays Gate (view). Will call is only open on game days. As with the ticket office, the windows will open 2.5 hours before first pitch.

San Francisco Giants Tickets Vivid Seats

As I mentioned earlier, many fans prefer to buy Giants tickets online to avoid the hassle of buying at the stadium. I like to use Vivid Seats to buy my MLB tickets.

The Vivid Seats platform is easy to use and they show you what your view from the seat will be prior to purchase. And you can shop around to find the seat and price point that fits your budget.

This is where you can view Giants tickets available at Vivid Seats (paid affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

Vivid Seats has a 100% Buyer Guarantee program that is designed to give you peace of mind when you are buying tickets online. Here is all that comes with Vivid Seat’s 100% Buyers Guarantee program:

  • Hassle Free Customer Service
  • Private and Secure transaction (no selling or sharing your information to brokers)
  • Tickets Delivered before the Event Guaranteed or Money Back
  • Valid and Authentic Tickets or money back
  • Accurate Order Guarantee (your tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than your order or money back)
  • Money Back Guarantee for Cancelled Events

Not only do they make sure you are satisfied and your transactions are secure, but they also have a very user-friendly platform. When you go to purchase tickets, they show you exactly where the seats are on the stadium map. They also give you a view from those seats.

It is very easy to find the game, browse through the tickets, and load the tickets into the cart for purchase. For MLB tickets, including San Francisco Giants tickets, Vivid Seats is my favorite option.

San Francisco Giants Tickets Stubhub, Ticketmaster, and SeatGeek

If you prefer to buy your Giants tickets online, StubHub and Ticketmaster are two other popular options. Just like Vivid Seats above, these sites allows you to buy both Giants tickets and Giants parking passes.

These sites work hard to ensure that your tickets are valid and that you are protected. For example, StubHub has what they call “FanProtect”, which is StubHub’s promise that every order is 100% guaranteed (source). Their promise says that you “get valid tickets to any event or your money back.” StubHub commits to finding replacement tickets if there is an issue with your order.

SeatGeek is unique because it is a ticket search engine that searches through the largest tickets sites on the internet to give you an idea of what seats are available across all of those sites. This makes it much easier than you going to each site individually to compare prices.

How Much are San Francisco Giants Season Tickets?

The cost of Giants season tickets varies dramatically depending on the location and amount of seats you are interested in. My advice is to visit the Giants season tickets page by clicking here.

Once there, you can select the price range that makes the most sense for you, and choose your season ticket seats. The Giants also offer a variety of ticket plans which allow you to buy a collection of game tickets without having to buy tickets for the entire season. Click here to see the Giants current ticket plans.

Giants Parking Options

When going to a San Francisco Giants game, Oracle Park only has parking lots. The good thing is Oracle Park has 3 main reserved parking lots where you can buy parking passes.

Oracle Park Parking Lots:

  • Oracle Park Lot A
  • Oracle Park Lot C
  • Oracle One Bryant Lot/Oracle Park Lot 26

Any of these lots will be great for you, but if you want to be as close as possible I would try to get a pass in Lot A or Lot C. Parking can be purchased at the stadium or you can get a prepaid pass. Parking lots open 3 hours before game time.

Be sure to consider where your seats are located. While the Oracle Park Parking Lots are close to the stadium, if you choose to park in one of the private options in San Francisco it can be a long walk. To read more, visit our San Francisco Giants Parking and Gate Guide.

Are San Francisco Giants Tickets Hard to Get?

The Giants are a popular team and will sellout several games throughout the season. Certain games against premium opponents may sell out, along with certain weekend games.

If you are wondering about availability, my recommendation is to contact the Giants ticket office and let them advise you on current availability and how to proceed. But it’s important to understand, that even if the game is sold out, you still have an option to buy from an online ticket broker like Vivid Seats.

As I mentioned above, I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me the perspective from the actual seat so I get an idea of what my view of the field will look like prior to purchase. They also have a 100% Buyer Guarantee where they will make sure your tickets are safe and secure.

If you wish to buy from the team, the process is not hard, but availability may be an issue at times. How to Get Cheap San Francisco Giants Tickets

Finding cheap San Francisco Giants tickets will obviously depend on your personal budget, and what you are willing to spend. MLB tickets, in general, are much more budget-friendly than NFL tickets. Most teams, including the Giants, have very affordable seats.

Of course, not everyone’s definition of “cheap” is the same. Obviously, the most affordable San Francisco Giants tickets will be in the upper sections of the stadium. But if you are looking for a tip to finding San Francisco Giants tickets at a discount, there is one thing to consider.

Sometimes ticket prices will drop as gameday gets closer. This is due to the fact that resellers don’t want to eat the ticket, and so they are more willing to sell for a lower price. But, before you get too excited, don’t expect a significant bargain.

And it is also worth pointing out that this price drop as gameday approaches does not always occur (sometimes the opposite happens). According to SeatGeek, “MLB fans pay 38 percent less when they buy the week of a game versus a month or more ahead of time”.

So, there are occasions where you may be able to get San Francisco Giants tickets for cheaper if you wait until closer to gameday. But this method is not without risk. The tickets you want may no longer be available if you wait, and there is no guarantee that tickets will for sure decrease in price.

Of course, visiting teams can also impact pricing. If you choose to watch the Giants play a worse opponent, the ticket prices will often be cheaper. This, too, is not always guaranteed however.
