Target Field has several stadium entrance gates. Target Field gates open 1 hour before scheduled first pitch for all Monday-Thursday evening games, 1.5 hours before scheduled first pitch for weekday afternoon games, and 2 hours before scheduled first pitch for all Friday-Sunday games.


Target Field Gate Information

Target Field Gate 3 Entrance Location 

Target Field Gate 3 is located on the Northeast side of the stadium. Target Field Gate 3 is at the intersection of Third Avenue North and North Fifth Street. This gate is the Target Field centerfield gate, meaning it is located on the outfield side of the stadium

Target Field Gate 6 Entrance Location 

Target Field Gate 6 is located on the northwest side of the stadium. Target Field Gate 6 is at the intersection of North Fifth Street and Cedar Lake Trail. This gate is the Target Field left field gate, which means it is on the outfield side of the stadium. Metro transit has a stop right in front of Target Field Gate 6.

Target Field Gate 14 Entrance Location 

Target Field Gate 14 is located on the west side of the stadium. Target Field Gate 14 is located just off North Seventh Street (Floyd B Olson Memorial Hwy) and is near the Cedar Lake Trail. This gate is the Target Field home plate gate.

Target Field Gate 29 Entrance Location 

Target Field Gate 29 is located on the south side of the stadium. Target Field Gate 29 is located near the intersection of North Seventh Street and Twins Way. This gate is close to the Majestic Twins Clubhouse Store, which might help you identify the gate as you approach it. Target Field Gate 29 is the Target Field Right Field Gate.

Target Field Gate 29 entrance is located across the street from Target Field Parking Ramp A. This Gate is the Target Field Uber Pickup and Dropoff location.

Target Field Gate 34 Entrance Location 

Target Field Gate 34 is located on the south side of the stadium and is the entrance into the stadium from Target Plaza. This gate is another right field gate. Target Field Gate 34 is a popular entry point and has several entertainment options in the plaza that sits in front of it, known as the Gate 34 Experience.

Target Field Gate 34 is accessible from both Seventh Street and Second Avenue, but can also be accessed from Target Plaza. This gate is near both Target Field Parking Ramp A and Target Field Parking Ramp B.

Target Field TRCC Gate 

The Thomson Reuters Champions Club has its own special parking and gate entrance area near the stadium. The Target Field TRCC Gate is located on the service level of Target Field, below home plate. Target Field TRCC Gate will be on the west side of the stadium, below North Seventh Street. This gate is also commonly referred to as the Target Field Champions Club Gate.

Target Field Parking Ramp A is also very near to the Target Field TRCC Gate.

Target Field TRCC members may also enter the stadium via the Target Field Skyway Entrance that connects Target Field Parking Ramp A to the stadium. We discuss its location next.

Target Field Skyway Entrance Location 

The Target Field Skyway Entrance is connected with Target Field Parking Ramp A. The Target Field Skyway Entrance is accessible from level three of Target Field Parking Ramp A. This Skyway Entrance is a covered pedestrian walk bridge that connects the north side of Target Field Parking Ramp A to the stadium itself.

This pedestrian bridge crosses over the top of Seventh Street and brings you to the Target Field Skyway Entrance. This entrance is on the first-base side of the field. Click here to see the Target Field Skyway Entrance as you view it from Seventh Street below.

This is mainly used as a VIP entrance for Target Field Delta Club and Champions Club ticket holders. For regular ticket holders, Target Field Gate 29 is very near to this entrance.


Target Field Parking Ramps and Lots

Target Field Parking Ramp A Location 

Target Field Parking Ramp A is located south of the stadium, and extends several city blocks. The north corner of Target Field Parking Ramp A is located at the intersection of North Seventh Street and Twins Way.

Yes, it does cost to park in Target Field Parking Ramp A. Target Field Parking Ramp A is closest to Target Field Gate 29 and Target Field Gate 34 stadium entrance locations.

Again, Target Field Parking Ramp A extends several city blocks. This is what the entrance to Target Field Parking Ramp A looks like on the south side of the parking ramp as you enter it from Ninth Street. Although Target Field Parking Ramp A is located right next to Target Field, because the structure is so large, some of the south-end parking spots will require a 5 minute walk to the stadium.

Target Field Parking Ramp B Location 

Target Field Parking Ramp B is located southeast of the stadium, on the corner of N Third Avenue and N Fifth Street. Target Field Parking Ramp B is located on the outfield side of the stadium.

Target Field Parking Ramp C Location 

Target Field Parking Ramp C is located east of the stadium, and extends several city blocks. There is an entry point to Target Field Parking Ramp C located on North Third Avenue and an entry point located on North Second Avenue.

Target Field Gate 3 Parking Options

Target Field Gate 3 is located on the east side of the stadium. Target Field Gate 3 is at the intersection of North Third Avenue and North Fifth Street. My recommendation for Target Field Gate 3 parking would be to use Target Field Parking Ramp B if possible, which is located directly across the street from this entrance.

Target Field Parking Ramp A and Target Field Parking Ramp C are two other options, but both will require a 3-7 minute walk to reach this entrance.

Target Field Gate 6 Parking Options

Target Field Gate 6 is located on the northwest side of the stadium, and is the left field entrance gate. My recommendation for Target Field Gate 6 parking would be to choose Target Field Parking Ramp B or Target Field Parking Ramp C. There may also be certain private surface spots available for purchase in the area.

Target Field Parking Ramp B is located south of Target Field Gate 6, and will require a 2-5 minute walk along the east side of the stadium up North Fifth Street. Target Field Parking Ramp C is located southeast of Target Field Gate 6, and will require a similar 2-5 minute walk.

Target Field Parking Ramp A is another option, but it is located on the opposite side of the stadium, and shouldn’t be your first choice for Target Field Gate 6 parking. Target Field Parking Ramp C or Target Field Parking Ramp B will be your best options for parking near gate 6 Target Field.

Target Field Gate 14 Parking Options

Target Field Gate 14 is located on the west side of the stadium just of North Seventh Street (Floyd B Olson Memorial Hwy) and is near the Cedar Lake Trail. My recommendation for Target Field Gate 14 parking would be to choose Target Field Parking Ramp A if possible, and choose Target Field Parking Ramp B as a backup option. Target Field Parking Ramp C will be on the other side of the stadium, and will be the farthest walk, so avoid that ramp if possible.

Target Field Parking Ramp A is located south of Target Field Gate 14, and will require a 2-5 minute walk along the west side of the stadium up North Seventh Street. Target Field Parking Ramp B will be a bit farther away, and will require a 5-10 minute walk to Target Field Gate 14.

Target Field Gate 29 Parking Options

Target Field Gate 29 is located on the south side of the stadium, and is a right-field entrance gate. My recommendation for Target Field Gate 29 parking would be to choose Target Field Parking Ramp A or Target Field Parking Ramp B.

Target Field Parking Ramp A is a large garage located right next to Target Field Gate 29 and extends several city blocks. There is also Target Field Parking Ramp B located just east of Target Field Gate 29, and will require a 2-5 minute walk. Out of the three parking ramps, Target Field Parking Ramp C will be the farthest away from Target Field Gate 29.

Target Field Gate 34 Parking Options

Target Field Gate 34 is located on the south side of the stadium on Target Plaza and is a popular entry point and has several entertainment options in the plaza that sits in front of it, known as the Gate 34 Experience. My recommendation for Target Field Gate 34 parking would be to choose Target Field Parking Ramp A or Target Field Parking Ramp B.

Target Field TRCC Parking Lot

The Target Field TRCC Parking Lot is located on the service level of Target Field, below home plate. Target Field TRCC Gate will be on the west side of the stadium, below North Seventh Street.

Target Field Parking Lot South

Target Field Parking Lot South is located southwest of the stadium, below the home plate gate. It is a surface lot located beneath North Seventh Avenue located off of Twins Way. This lot is a VIP lot and also used for a loading dock entrance and will require a special pass for entry.

Where to Park at Target Field 

The Parking ramps require a parking pass, and you either pay in advance or pay when you park. If you have a pre-purchased pass, your parking space has been reserved, so you can ignore the full garage signs. Other options to park downtown include meters and other privately-owned parking garages.

There are 3 main parking ramps located very near to Target Field as well as several surface spots around the city. Overall, there are plenty of parking spots available. Here are the Target Field parking garages you might consider:

Which Parking Ramp is Closest to Target Field?

Target Field Parking Ramp A and Target Field Parking Ramp B are the closest to the stadium. However, Target Field Parking Ramp C is not too much farther away, and may make more sense if your seats are on the left field side of the stadium.

Ramp A Target Field is best for seats on the home plate and first base side of the field, while Ramp B Target Field is best for outfield seats, especially centerfield.

Do you have to pay to park at Target Field?

Alternate Transportation to Target Field

Target Field Uber Pickup Location

Located close to gate twenty-nine is the drop-off and pickup location for Uber Passengers. Additionally, a pickup and drop-off location is situated in the Twins way section that connects to N Seventh Street. There is one dollar and fifty-cent surcharge from Uber for each trip to/from the area. 

Metro Transit Target Field Train
