If you are heading to a Tennessee Volunteers football game this Neyland Stadium Parking Tips Guide will help you understand where the different stadium parking lots are located. There are several large parking areas located very near to the stadium.

**To avoid hassle, my advice is to purchase a parking pass in advance. You can buy your pass directly from the University of Tennessee as long as supplies last, or you can use online ticket brokers like StubHub or Vivid Seats. Tennessee Football Parking Tips

How Does Parking Work at Neyland Stadium?

Football parking permits are sold by the Tennessee Athletics Ticket Office which you can access by clicking here. You can also purchase parking passes from online ticket brokers such as Ticketmaster, StubHub, and Vivid Seats.

As of this year, if you want to buy parking passes for On-Campus parking, you will need to be a donor to the university (source). Almost all of the On-Campus parking is reserved for those will season tickets and are donors. Those who do that, will get a parking pass from the University. The few exceptions to this are on a first come first served and you need to pay with cash.

However, there are many Off-Campus options where you can purchase parking passes ahead of time or pay when you get to the game. Many of these will be parking garages and some are on shuttle routes from the Knoxville Area Transit so you can get a ride rather than walking. There are several KAT routes on gameday that begin at 7am that will take you to and from the game.

Where is Tennessee Football RV Parking?

Donors will be given an assigned spot on campus if they request a spot for a RV. These spots will be used for the season. For those that are not donors, there isn’t any on campus parking reserved for RV’s. There are two options for RV’s off campus.

The first option is the Civic Coliseum in downtown Knoxville. You can get a permit ahead of time or pay for parking when you get there, assuming there are spots available. Other Tennessee Football Parking Options

As we discussed, there are two popular options for parking when going to a football game or other event at Neyland Stadium. On campus is ideal, but for most of the options you have to be a University Donor. Off campus is a bit further away but the most likely option for non donors.

With that said, you do have a couple other parking options. Here are the other popular parking options for Tennessee Volunteer games:

  • Metered Parking in Knoxville

The Knoxville Area Transit or the KAT, has numerous routes that run throughout Knoxville that go by the stadium on gameday. The KAT will start operating those routes typically around 3 hours prior to kickoff. With Neyland Stadium being in downtown Knoxville, just like any other city, there is metered parking all over. If you can find any open spots, this can be an easy way to get parking fairly close to the stadium. Most of the meters take credit cards as well, but it is always a good idea to bring change as a backup option of payment.

The Neyland Stadium Uber and Rideshare Pick Up Location is on Circle Drive on the Hill. Rideshare drivers will need to enter from Cumberland Ave and proceed up the Hill, where riders should be waiting.
