  • Clear Stadium BagNFL stadiums have strict bag policies and recommend a clear stadium bag like this one available at Amazon (paid affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com). Make sure to verify the size dimensions meets the size standards for Lumen Field.

  • Noise-Canceling Headphones – Stadiums can get very loud, and noise-canceling headphones may be needed for toddlers.

Can You Bring a Bag Into Lumen Field?

As an emphasis on security has increased in recent years, NFL stadiums have adjusted their bag policies. There are strict regulations regarding the types of bags allowed inside a stadium. The NFL recommends fans to use clear stadium bags like this one available at Amazon (paid affiliate link takes you to Amazon.com).

Clear stadium bags help with security at the gate, and not only make the stadium safer, but also help security lines move faster. But each stadium has its own safety guidelines, and may include certain exceptions. To read more, I would advise you to visit the Lumen Field bag information.

Can You Bring a Blanket Into Lumen Field?

Yes you can bring a bag into a Seattle Seahawks home game at Lumen Field (source). Since Lumen Field is an open-air stadium, a blanket really helps during the cold weather games late in the NFL season. While bringing in a blanket is permitted, stadium staff will usually make sure you are using it appropriately and not causing any issues with other fans.

Seattle Seahawks Ticket Information

Buying Seahawks Tickets

As of this year, the Seahawks ticket office no longer sells hard tickets at the stadium. The ticket office at the stadium is open only to assist in ticket resolution issues or help fans buy tickets on their phones. All tickets are digital. Buying in advance is always a good idea necessary.

You can buy your tickets directly from the team’s website, but once the game is sold-out, you will need to use the secondary ticket market, where you can buy Seahawks tickets that are being re-sold. For these types of tickets, I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase.

On gameday, the Seahawks Ticket Office is located on the northwest side of the stadium near the Lumen Field Northwest Gate. To read more, visit our article about purchasing Seahawks tickets at the stadium.

Please remember that NFL stadiums have adopted mobile ticketing in an attempt to reduce the risk of ticket fraud. To learn more about how the Seahawks mobile ticketing works, click here.

Lumen Field Gate Information

Lumen Field Gates for the public open 2 hours prior to kickoff, while the Club Entrances will open 3 hours prior to kickoff. Keep in mind that some Public Entrance lines take awhile to get in, so getting there early is always a good plan so you don’t miss any part of the game. There are 6 Public Entrances and three Club or VIP Entrances at Lumen Field. All guests are subject to security inspection prior to admittance into the stadium. Re-entry is prohibited.

Best Place to Park at Lumen Field for Seahawks Games

There is very limited parking at Lumen Field, with only one parking garage and one parking lot. Both of these are reserved for season parking pass holders only. With that said, parking passes can be found on secondary markets, but in general, there is no single game parking available at Lumen Field.

So while you can’t park at Lumen Field, there are some options within a mile at privately owned parking garages and lots. Tailgating is also not allowed at Lumen Field, but there is one lot (Lumen Field S Lot) within a mile of the stadium that allows tailgating. These lots and garages do have their own rules, so you will want to follow those when you park off-site.

Lumen Field Parking Tips

  • Buy Prepaid Parking if Possible – Buying a parking pass in advance can help you avoid the hassle of buying at the stadium, and allows you to reserve a spot in a parking lot that makes the most sense for you. With limited spaces that will be shared with public parking, buying ahead of time is smart This is where you can view the current price of parking passes available for Seahawks games at Vivid Seats (paid affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).
  • Private Parking – If you don’t have a season parking pass into Lumen Field North Lot or Lumen Field Parking Garage, you will have to park off-site in a privately owned parking lot. Lumen Field only has on-site parking for season pas holders.
  • Rideshare – Since the stadium is in downtown Seattle, parking at the stadium is very limited. Getting a ride share from your location is very effective and convenient. While you will pay of the ride, many times it is less expensive than parking your vehicle somewhere. With that in mind, you can always park somewhere close to the stadium and rideshare from there as well.
