Best Places to Buy Dallas Cowboys Tickets

If you are planning to attend a Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium and don’t yet have tickets, you might be wondering about your options. Where can you buy Dallas Cowboys tickets?

Cowboys Tickets: Buying tickets directly from the team is the method most fans prefer, but Cowboys games frequently sellout, so this won’t always be an option. If the game is sold out, you will need to use the secondary ticket market, where you can buy Cowboys tickets that are being re-sold. For these types of tickets, I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. Click here to view Cowboys tickets available at Vivid Seats (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

The Cowboys Ticket Office is located at Entry A on the northeast side of the stadium (view). You will see the sign for the Pro shop and Entry A is just to the right of that. The ticket office will be open on game days for ticket resolution only.

Although there may be other methods to buy Dallas Cowboys tickets, the most popular options are:

  • Buy From the Cowboys (Primary Ticket Marketplace)
  • Buy From Vivid Seats (My Favorite)
  • Buy From Stubhub
  • Buy From TicketMaster

As we discussed above, many fans prefer buying directly from the team, but once the game is sold out, you will need to go to the secondary ticket market to find Dallas Cowboys tickets. A secondary ticket marketplace is where tickets that have already been purchased are re-sold for one reason or another.

Usually a ticket is re-sold because whoever bought the ticket in the first place can’t make it to the game, and so they are re-selling the tickets (for example, maybe they have season tickets and can’t make it to this week’s game). Also, some fans may re-sell their tickets if the ticket value for a certain game skyrockets, and they have the chance to turn a profit.

There are several places online where you can purchase these re-sold tickets, including Vivid Seats, StubHub, TicketMaster, and Tickets for Less (among others). Vivid Seats is very easy to use.

In this article let’s take a closer look at all of these options so you have a better idea where to buy Dallas Cowboys tickets. Let’s also discuss option you have if you are searching for cheap Cowboys tickets.

Where Can You Buy Dallas Cowboys Tickets?

Buy Tickets From the Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys tickets are available to purchase from the team website by clicking here. If you are interested in buying season tickets for the Dallas Cowboys, you can view that information by clicking here.

Update this year- The Dallas Cowboys Ticket Office is only open on game days and is there to assist ticket resolution only. Buying tickets through the Cowboys is not hard, but availability is something you will need to consider. To read more, visit our article about buying Cowboys tickets at AT&T stadium.

  • Ticket Office Location: The main Cowboys Ticket Office is located at Entry A on the northeast side of the stadium (view). You will see the sign for the Pro shop and Entry A is just to the right of that.  Inside Entry A, you will see the ticket office. Ticket Office windows are available on the outside of the stadium just beyond the ‘AT&T Stadium’ sign (view).

Although Cowboys tickets are first listed through the team, once they sellout, you will need to go to the secondary ticket market to purchase your tickets. This includes sites like Vivid Seats, StubHub, and Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange. Let’s discuss these sites in more detail so you understand which one might be your best option.

Cowboys Tickets Vivid Seats

If the Cowboys game is sold out and you’re looking for tickets, you will need to buy re-sold tickets on the secondary ticket market. For buying these types of Dallas Cowboys tickets, Vivid Seats is my favorite option. Click here to view Cowboys tickets available at Vivid Seats (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

Vivid Seats is an online ticket broker that allows you to purchase re-sold Cowboys tickets. What is a re-sold ticket? Re-sold tickets are tickets that have already been purchased once, but for whatever reason, the original buyer no longer is going to use the ticket and is therefore re-selling it using an online ticket broker like Vivid Seats.

There are many reasons a ticket may be re-sold, but two common reasons are 1) the original buyer cannot make it to the game for one reason or another, or 2) the original buyer feels he/she can make a profit because the value of the ticket has risen from their original purchase price.

This may seem complicated, but I’m here to tell you it is not. The Vivid Seats platform is very easy to use and Vivid Seats has a 100% Buyer Guarantee program that is designed to give you peace of mind when you are buying tickets online.

Here is all that comes with Vivid Seat’s 100% Buyers Guarantee program:

  • Hassle Free Customer Service
  • Private and Secure transaction (no selling or sharing your information to brokers)
  • Tickets Delivered before the Event Guaranteed or Money Back
  • Valid and Authentic Tickets or money back
  • Accurate Order Guarantee (your tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than your order or money back)
  • Money Back Guarantee for Cancelled Events

As you can see, it was very easy to find the game, browse through the tickets, and load the tickets into the cart for purchase. For NFL tickets, including Dallas Cowboys tickets, Vivid Seats is my favorite option.

Cowboys Tickets Stubhub

If the game is sold out and you are shopping for Dallas Cowboys tickets, StubHub is another popular option. Just like Vivid Seats above, StubHub allows you to buy re-sold Dallas Cowboys tickets.

StubHub works hard to make you feel confident when buying through their website. They have what they call “FanProtect”, which is StubHub’s promise that every order is 100% guaranteed (source). Their promise says that you “get valid tickets to any event or your money back.” StubHub commits to finding replacement tickets if there is an issue with your order.

Cowboys Tickets Ticketmaster

A third popular re-selling platform is Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange. If you’re searching for re-sold Dallas Cowboys tickets, Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange is a very trustworthy platform to use. They are the official fan-to fan resale marketplace of the NFL (source).

Just like the other secondary ticket sites we discussed above, Ticketmaster is committed to ensuring you receive real tickets and that you have access to reliable refunds in case the event is canceled.

Cowboys Tickets SeatGeek

SeatGeek is unique because it is a ticket search engine that searches through the largest tickets sites on the internet to give you an idea of what seats are available across all of those sites. This makes it much easier than you going to each site individually to compare prices.

If this is something you might like to consider, this is where you can view Dallas Cowboys tickets available at SeatGeek. They also do a nice job of giving you the vantage point from each seat so you know what your view of the field will be.

Are Dallas Cowboys Tickets Hard to Get?

The Cowboys are a popular team with a long history of selling out the stadium, and for that reason, yes, Cowboys tickets can be hard to get. The Dallas Cowboys home games have sold out since 2002 (source) .

If you are wondering about availability, my recommendation is to contact the Cowboys’ ticket office and let them advise you on current availability and how to proceed. But it’s important to understand, that even if the game is sold out, you still have an option to buy from an online ticket broker like Vivid Seats.

As I mentioned above, I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me the perspective from the actual seat so I get an idea of what my view of the field will look like prior to purchase. They also have a 100% Buyer Guarantee where they will make sure your tickets are safe and secure.

How to Get Cheap Dallas Cowboys Tickets

Finding cheap Dallas Cowboys tickets, or NFL tickets in general, is very difficult. Because games frequently sellout, the demand is there to keep ticket prices high.

Of course, not everyone’s definition of “cheap” is the same. Obviously, the most affordable Dallas Cowboys tickets will be in the upper sections of the stadium. But if you are looking for a tip to finding Dallas Cowboys tickets at a discount, there is one thing to consider.

Sometimes ticket prices will drop as gameday gets closer. This is due to the fact that resellers don’t want to eat the ticket, and so they are more willing to sell for a lower price. Before you get too excited, don’t expect a significant bargain.

And it is also worth pointing out that this price drop as gameday approaches does not always occur (sometimes the opposite happens). According to TickPick, roughly 75% of NFL tickets decrease in price as you get closer to game day (source).

So, there are occasions where you may be able to get Dallas Cowboys tickets for cheaper if you wait until closer to gameday. But this method is not without risk. The tickets you want may no longer be available if you wait, and there is no guarantee that ticket prices will for sure decrease in price.

This is where you can view current Dallas Cowboys tickets available at Vivid Seats, where you can sort by price (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com). In general, it’s always best to buy the tickets as far in advance as possible so you can be sure that you have the tickets in hand, ready for gameday.
