Can You Buy Cowboys Tickets at the Stadium? (2021 info)

If you are planning to attend a Dallas Cowboys game at ATT Stadium and don’t yet have tickets, you might be wondering about your options. Can you buy Cowboys tickets at the stadium gate?

Update: Yes, you can buy Cowboys tickets at the stadium, but only as long as supplies last. That said, for reasons we discuss below (like sellouts, lines, etc), many fans choose to buy their tickets online before they go to the game. I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. You can use our promo code FANFOCUS10 to get $10 off orders over $100 at Vivid Seats. Click here to view Cowboys tickets available at VividSeats.com (affiliate link takes you to vividseats.com).

Vivid Seats has a 100% Buyer Guarantee where they will make sure your tickets are safe and secure. If there are Cowboys tickets available to purchase at the stadium on game day, they will be at the main Cowboys Ticket Office that is located at Entry A on the northeast side of the stadium (view).  You will see the sign for the Pro shop and Entry A is just to the right of that.

Buying NFL tickets online can help simplify the process and remove some of the annoyances and risks that come from buying tickets at the stadium. In this article, we discuss how to buy Cowboys tickets at ATT Stadium, and what your other options might be.

***Sportsfanfocus.com has no affiliation with the Cowboys or NFL. This article is to serve as a helpful resource for fans. If you wish to contact the Cowboys via email or other method in regards to purchasing tickets by phone or through the Cowboys official website, or have them instruct you on how to proceed, you can view that information here.

Buying Cowboys Tickets at the Stadium

Can You Buy Cowboys Tickets at AT&T Stadium?

Yes, as we discussed earlier, you can buy Dallas Cowboys tickets at the stadium if tickets are available on game day. The main Cowboys Ticket Office is located at Entry A on the northeast side of the stadium (view).

It is important to understand, if you are hoping to walkup and buy tickets at ATT Stadium for a game that same day, you likely won’t have any luck. Very rarely are there tickets available at the stadium on game day.

The Dallas Cowboys home games have sold out since 2002 (source).  Therefore, if you wait to buy tickets at the game, you will likely miss out. Buying your tickets in advance, if possible, is always best. Click here to view Cowboys tickets available at Vivid Seats (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

If you are hoping to buy tickets for games in the future, you do have the option to search on Vivid Seats or some other online ticket broker. If you want to try to buy through the Cowboys Ticket Office, my advice is to reach out to them via phone or internet.

ATT Stadium ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Central Standard time, and they also extend hours on game days as needed (source).

Issues with Buying Cowboys Tickets at the Stadium

Here are a few risks and annoyances you will want to consider if you are planning on buying Cowboys tickets at the gate.

  • Sellout– This is a major issue as the Dallas Cowboys have sold out every home game since 2002. But even though the games sell out, that doesn’t mean you can’t get tickets. It does mean you’ll likely need to use a ticket broker, like Vivid Seats, that sells aftermarket tickets (fan-to-fan). If you choose instead to wait and try to buy tickets at the stadium, you will probably miss out. Buying online in advance is advised.
  • Options – You also may find that even if there are tickets left for purchase that you don’t like any of the available seats or prices, especially if you are going to the game with a group of people. Buying online allows you to browse before you go, and find something that works for you.
  • Convenience – When you buy at the stadium, you will have to abruptly choose your seats while standing at the front of a line. Depending on the length of the line behind you, this may make you feel rushed when choosing where to sit. Buying online allows you to take as much time as needed to choose your seats and price.
  • Ticket Lines – Be prepared, waiting in line is a possibility if you choose to buy at the stadium. The overall wait can obviously fluctuate depending on the specific circumstance, and may be relatively short for some games. But a wait is possible.

Best Online Site for Cowboys Tickets

There are many places to buy Cowboys tickets from online, but I prefer Vivid Seats because of the 100% Buyer Guarantee, their digital platform, and their loyalty program. They also have a great app for phones to use that gives you access to digital tickets. Digital tickets are nice, as they can be scanned at the gates making them contactless. Buying tickets online can be a bit scary when it comes to giving out your information, which is why Vivid Seats has their 100% Buyer Guarantee program. The program is designed to give you security and peace of mind when you are buying tickets online. Here is all that comes with the 100% Buyers Guarantee program:

  • Hassle Free Customer Service
  • Private and Secure transaction (no selling or sharing your information to brokers)
  • Tickets Delivered before the Event Guaranteed or Money Back
  • Valid and Authentic Tickets or money back
  • Accurate Order Guarantee (your tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than your order or money back)
  • Money Back Guarantee for Cancelled Events

Not only do they make sure your are satisfied and your transactions are secure, but they also have a very user-friendly platform. When you go to purchase tickets, they show you exactly where the seats are on the stadium map. They also give you an actual picture view from those seats.

Vivid Seats Loyalty Program

As mentioned, Vivid Seats has a great loyalty program. Depending on how much you spend, you can earn up to 9% cash back on any purchase you make with them. Not only do you get an incredible 9% cash back if you reach “HOF” status, you will also get access to special VIP events and other additional perks. You can see more details here.

Of course, you can always contact the Cowboys and see if they have tickets available, but often times buying through an online ticket broker gives you a wider range of tickets and prices to choose from anyway. If there are no more tickets available through the Cowboys official website, the buying through a ticket broker like Vivid Seats is needed.

The difference between buying from Vivid Seats versus buying directly from the team is Vivid Seats is a secondary ticket marketplace, meaning fan-to-fan. As mentioned, usually online ticket brokers like Vivid Seats will have a lot more tickets available and options to choose from.

There are, of course, other fan-to-fan ticket sites out there besides Vivid Seats that will also work just fine (like Stubhub). But I like to use Vivid Seats to take advantage of their 100% Buyer Guarantee and loyalty program. Click here to browse through Cowboys tickets on Vivid Seats to see what seats are available, and what prices (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

The Cowboys currently have a partnership with SeatGeek to be their primary ticket sales platform.  SeatGeek not only has the ability to sell season tickets for the Dallas Cowboys, they also can sell single game tickets as well as supporting fan-to-fan sales as well.
