NRG Stadium has several main gates for fans to use, and the stadium also has multiple club entrances. In this article, let’s discuss the location of the main NRG Stadium gates, and when those gates open.

When do NRG Stadium Gates Open?

NRG Stadium Gate Locations

NRG Stadium Xfinity Gate Entrance Location

The NRG Stadium Xfinity Gate is located on the northwest corner of the stadium. It is located just off of Kirby Drive, which is the street that runs north and south just west of the stadium.

NRG Stadium Xfinity Gate can be accessed from the area north of the stadium, or from the sidewalk that runs on the west side of the stadium. This will be the closest entrance for those crossing the north pedestrian bridge that crosses Kirby Drive (from the parking lots west of the stadium).

NRG Stadium BHP Gate Entrance Location

The NRG Stadium BHP Billiton Gate is located on the northeast corner of the stadium. It is located just off of NRG Parkway, which is the street that runs along the north side of the stadium.

NRG Stadium BHP Gate might be best for those parking north or east of the stadium. For visual reference, the NRG Stadium BHP Gate is on the same side of the stadium as the Astrodome.

NRG Stadium Amegy Bank Gate Entrance Location

The NRG Stadium Amegy Bank Gate is located on the southeast corner of the stadium. The NRG Stadium Amegy Bank Gate is positioned on the same side of the stadium as the Astrodome, which might give you a visual reference.

The NRG Stadium Amegy Bank Gate might make the most sense for those parking south of the stadium in the blue or maroon parking lots.

NRG Stadium Ford Gate Entrance Location

The NRG Stadium Ford Gate is located on the southwest corner of the stadium. It is located just off of Kirby Drive, which is the street that runs north and south just west of the stadium.

NRG Stadium Ford Gate can be accessed from the area south of the stadium. This will be the closest entrance for those crossing the south pedestrian bridge that crosses Kirby Drive (from the parking lots west of the stadium).

NRG Stadium Verizon Entrances (Club)

There are four NRG Stadium Verizon Entrances. The Verizon Club is a private club for VIP guests and includes private gameday entries which include access to elevators (source). These NRG Stadium Verizon Entrances include:

NRG Stadium West Club Entrance – The NRG Stadium West Club Entrance is located near the intersection of Kirby Drive and Murworth Drive, which is just west of the stadium. When you approach this side of the stadium, you should see the large window facade with the NRG Stadium sign. On each side should be a set of doors labeled for the NRG Stadium West Club Entrance (view).

NRG Stadium West Club Entrance – The NRG Stadium East Club Entrance is located on the pedestrain walkway that runs between NRG Stadium and the Astrodome. When you approach this side of the stadium, you should see two sets of doors, both of them labeled as the NRG Stadium East Club Entrance.
