If you are planning to attend a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game at Raymond James Stadium and don’t yet have tickets, you might be wondering about your options. Can you buy Buccaneers tickets at the stadium gate?
Update: As of this year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers use digital tickets only. The ticket office windows at the stadium do not issue paper tickets. You can purchase tickets directly from the team’s website as long as supplies last. You can also use ticket brokers like Ticketmaster, StubHub, or Vivid Seats. I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. Any fan needing assistance purchasing tickets can contact the team’s ticket office during regular business hours. The Buccaneers Ticket Office is located in the South Plaza between gates C and D on the south side of Raymond James Stadium.
UPDATE- Please note that as of this year, the Raymond James Stadium Ticket Office for the Buccaneers is currently only open on game days with times to be decided. Because of that, it is best to contact them in advance for any ticketing needs and to see what times they will be open on game days.
Buying NFL tickets online can help simplify the process and remove some of the annoyances that come from buying tickets at the stadium. In this article, we discuss how to buy Buccaneers tickets at Raymond James Stadium, and what your other options might be.
Buying Buccaneers Tickets at the Stadium
Can You Buy Buccaneers Tickets at Raymond James Stadium?
As of this year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers use digital tickets only. The ticket office windows at the stadium do not issue paper tickets. You can purchase tickets directly from the team’s website as long as supplies last.
It is important to understand, if you are hoping to walk-up and buy tickets at Raymond James Stadium for a game that same day, you likely won’t have any luck. Very rarely are there tickets available at the stadium on game day.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games sellout frequently. Therefore, if you wait to buy tickets at the game, you will likely miss out. Buying your tickets in advance, if possible, is always best. If you are hoping to buy tickets for games in the future, you do have the option to search on Vivid Seats or some other online ticket broker. If you want to try to buy through the Buccaneers Ticket Office, my advice is to reach out to them via phone or internet.
Best Online Site for Buccaneers Tickets
There are many places to buy Buccaneers tickets from online, but I prefer Vivid Seats because of the 100% Buyer Guarantee, their digital platform, and their loyalty program. Click here to view Buccaneers tickets available at Vivid Seats (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).
Buying tickets online can be a bit scary when it comes to giving out your information, which is why Vivid Seats has their 100% Buyer Guarantee program. The program is designed to give you security and peace of mind when you are buying tickets online. Here is all that comes with the 100% Buyers Guarantee program:
- Hassle Free Customer Service
- Private and Secure transaction (no selling or sharing your information to brokers)
- Tickets Delivered before the Event Guaranteed or Money Back
- Valid and Authentic Tickets or money back
- Accurate Order Guarantee (your tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than your order or money back)
- Money Back Guarantee for Cancelled Events
Not only do they make sure your are satisfied and your transactions are secure, but they also have a very user-friendly platform. When you go to purchase tickets, they show you exactly where the seats are on the stadium map. They also give you an actual picture view from those seats. Vivid Seats Loyalty Program
As mentioned, Vivid Seats has a great loyalty program. Depending on how much you spend, you can earn up to 9% cash back on any purchase you make with them. Not only do you get an incredible 9% cash back if you reach “HOF” status, you will also get access to special VIP events and other additional perks. You can see more details here.
If you choose not to buy your tickets at Raymond James Stadium, or through the Buccaneers official website, the best place to buy Buccaneers tickets online is Vivid Seats.
The difference between buying from Vivid Seats versus buying directly from the team is Vivid Seats is a secondary ticket marketplace, meaning fan-to-fan. As mentioned, usually online ticket brokers like Vivid Seats will have a lot more tickets available and options to choose from.
There are, of course, other fan-to-fan ticket sites out there besides Vivid Seats that will also work just fine (like Stubhub). But I like to use Vivid Seats to take advantage of their 100% Buyer Guarantee and loyalty program.
The NFL has partnered with Ticketmaster as the preferred primary ticketing partner. Ticketmaster also has an online platform called Ticket Exchange, which is also a very popular fan-to-fan platform that competes with Vivid Seats.

General Raymond James Stadium Information
Raymond James Stadium opened in 1996 but the first Buccaneers game held there wasn’t until 1998. It is an open-air stadium, so you will need to prepare to face the elements when you go to a Buccaneers game. It seats roughly 65,000 fans for Buccaneers game days.
Going to a game at RSJ is fun, but just know games will last around 3 hours. You can find more game time information in our Bucs Fan Guide. Raymond James Stadium is famous for the Buccaneers Ship that is “docked” in Buccaneer Cove. The ships cannons go off when the Buccaneers score, one shot per point scored. If you are going to a game, it is always a good idea to get an authentic Bucs Jersey.
