General Acrisure Stadium Information
Acrisure Stadium opened in 2001 and is the home to both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Panthers. It is an open-air stadium, so you will need to prepare to face the elements when you go to a Steelers game. It seats roughly 68,400 fans for Steelers game days.
Acrisure Stadium is home to the FedEx Great Hall that houses all six of the franchises championship trophies. Another Steelers tradition is to wave the “Terrible Towels” at home. These are gold and black “rally” towels with the words “Terrible Towel” printed on it.
