Can You Buy Blue Jays Tickets at Rogers Centre? (2022 info)

Sportsfanfocus.com has no affiliation with Rogers Centre, the Toronto Blue Jays, or MLB (info)

If you are hoping to watch a Toronto Blue Jays game in person at Rogers Centre and don’t yet have tickets, you might be wondering about your options. Can you buy Blue Jays tickets at the Rogers Centre on gameday?

Update: As of 2022, the Blue Jays ticket office no longer sells hard tickets at the stadium. The ticket office at the stadium is open for mobile ticket support only. Tickets can be purchased online through the team’s website as long as supplies last, or through ticket brokers like StubHub or Vivid Seats. I like to use Vivid Seats because they show me what my view from the seats will look like prior to purchase. Click here to view Blue Jays tickets available at VividSeats.com (affiliate link takes you to vividseats.com).

The Blue Jays ticket office is located near Gate 9 along Bremner Blvd. This is the southwest corner of the Rogers Centre. But no physical tickets are sold on-site on gameday.

The Blue Jays sell digital tickets which you can purchase using the MLB Ballpark app. In this article let’s take a closer look at how you can purchase Blue Jays tickets.

You can purchase tickets directly from the team by clicking here. The Blue Jays sell digital tickets which you can purchase using the MLB Ballpark app (source).

If the game is sold out, you will need to then use a fan-to-fan ticket broker like StubHub or Vivid Seats. It is always best to buy directly from the team if possible to help ensure the authenticity of the ticket.

As I mentioned earlier, when I use ticket brokers, I personally like to use Vivid Seats because they show me the view from my seats prior to purchase. Click here to view Blue Jays tickets available at Vivid Seats (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).

Best Online Site for Blue Jays Tickets

Again, it is always best to purchase directly from the team if possible to help ensure the authenticity of the tickets. But if you prefer to use a ticket broker, then I personally prefer Vivid Seats.

They have a 100% Buyer Guarantee, their digital platform, and their loyalty program. They also have a great app for phones to use that gives you access to digital tickets. Digital tickets are nice, as they can be scanned at the gates making them contactless.

Buying tickets online can be a bit scary when it comes to giving out your information, which is why Vivid Seats has their 100% Buyer Guarantee program. The program is designed to give you security and peace of mind when you are buying tickets online. Here is all that comes with the 100% Buyers Guarantee program:

  • Hassle Free Customer Service
  • Private and Secure transaction (no selling or sharing your information to brokers)
  • Tickets Delivered before the Event Guaranteed or Money Back
  • Valid and Authentic Tickets or money back
  • Accurate Order Guarantee (your tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than your order or money back)
  • Money Back Guarantee for Cancelled Events

Not only do they make sure you are satisfied and your transactions are secure, but they also have a very user-friendly platform. When you go to purchase tickets, they show you exactly where the seats are on the stadium map. They also give you an actual picture view from those seats.

Vivid Seats Loyalty Program

As mentioned, Vivid Seats has a great loyalty program. Depending on how much you spend, you can earn up to 9% cash back on any purchase you make with them. Not only do you get an incredible 9% cash back if you reach “HOF” status, you will also get access to special VIP events and other additional perks. You can see more details here.

Of course, you can always contact the Blue Jays and see if they have tickets available, but often times buying through an online ticket broker gives you a wider range of tickets and prices to choose from anyway. If there are no more tickets available through the Blue Jays official website, the buying through a ticket broker like Vivid Seats is needed.

The difference between buying from Vivid Seats versus buying directly from the team is Vivid Seats is a secondary ticket marketplace, meaning fan-to-fan. As mentioned, usually online ticket brokers like Vivid Seats will have a lot more tickets available and options to choose from.

There are, of course, other fan-to-fan ticket sites out there besides Vivid Seats that will also work just fine (like Ticketmaster). But I like to use Vivid Seats to take advantage of their 100% Buyer Guarantee and loyalty program.

The MLB has partnered with StubHub as the preferred primary ticketing partner. StubHub has an online sales platform, which is also a very popular that competes with Vivid Seats.

General Rogers Centre Information

Rogers Centre was built in 1989 and has a retractable roof that helps fans avoid the weather and sun. It is one of the few MLB stadiums to still use artificial turf. Because the stadium was built with a roof to avoid elements, the infrastructure near the field was not built to take on rain and water, therefore natural grass has not been an option.

Rogers Centre is located in downtown Toronto. It has great views of the Toronto skyline, and of CN Tower, which is nearby. Click here to see the views from Rogers Centre.

Where to Buy Blue Jays Tickets Online?

As mentioned above, I believe the best place to buy Blue Jays tickets online is Vivid Seats. There are, of course, other fan-to-fan ticket sites out there besides Vivid Seats, but my recommendation is to stick with Vivid Seats as much as possible to take advantage of their 100% Buyers Guarantee and loyalty program.

Click here to browse through Blue Jays tickets on Vivid Seats to see what seats are available, and what prices (affiliate link takes you to VividSeats.com).
