Ticket Office Hours: The Padres Ticket Box Office at Petco Park during the season is open during the following hours. On gamedays the Padres Ticket Office opens at 10 a.m. and remains open throughout the game. Non-gamedays the Padres Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday: 10am – 5pm; Saturday: 10am – 4pm (source).
The ticket office is closed on non-gameday Sundays.

General Petco Park Information
Petco Park was opened in 2004. It is an open-air stadium, so you will need to prepare to face the elements when you go to a Padres game. Obviously rain is not a huge issue in San Diego, but you will need to be prepared with sun protection if attending a day game.
One cool thing about Petco Park is what is called The Park in the Park, which is a grassy berm area beyond the outfield fence where fans can hang out and watch the game.
