LoanDepot Park is home to the Miami Marlins and located about 2 miles west of downtown Miami in the Little Havana area. It is currently one of six MLB stadiums that has an retractable roof. The stadium seats 37,442 when it is sold out.
The ballpark opened in March of 2012, just in time for the Marlin’s 2012 season. The park is one of the most “green” MLB stadiums.
